Dinner: 6:15 p.m. Dupont’s Trolley Bar Restaurant Monday, October 20, 2008, 6:50 p.m. "Meet the Candidates for State Superintendent of Schools" This event will be broadcast live from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. by WANE-TV and is sponsored by Downs Center for Public Policy and hosted by PLT Fort Wayne Area Chapter. PLT will provide refreshments (lemonade and cookies). Each member is requested to bring one wrapped package of cookies. All unopened packages will be donated to a local food bank. The two candidates, Tony Bennett and Richard Wood will share their platform and answer questions from the audience. This event will be televised, so please arrive no later than 6:50 pm. Location: IPFW Rhinehart Music Hall Room 130 Saturday, November 15, 2008, 11:30 a.m. "Caring About the Burmese Community" Barnes and Noble Book Fair 9:30 a.m. Breakfast at the coffee shop 10:00 a.m. Burmese Presentation 10:30 a.m. Business Meeting Book Fair continues all day.
