Other Pi Lambda Theta News1. Welcome to our new members, initiated on May 31: Christopher Riley, IPFW Coordinator of Student Success & Multicultural Affairs and Elaine Pruitt, retired, Allen County Department of Health and former instructor, Ivy Tech Community College. 2. Congratulations to Ruby Cain, EdD (c), Fort Wayne Area Chapter Past President, was elected as International Vice President. Cain was installed by Past International and Past Fort Wayne Area President, Marjorie Souers, PhD at the PLT International Leadership Council and 45th Biennial Council in Richmond, Virginia. Workshops were conducted by Ruby Cain, EdD (c), Miles S. Edwards, PhD, and Karin Hutsell. 3. Preserving our History – Did you know that our chapter has historical records dating back to our inception in 1948? Historian, Joan Lewis worked with the Allen County Public Library to preserve our history on microfilm and now there is a permanent copy in the library for future generations to view. 4.
